Subaru Share the Love® Event at Moore Subaru Richmond
Subaru Share the Love® Event at Moore Subaru Richmond
At Moore Subaru Richmond, we’re thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of the annual Share the Love® event. What does this mean for Virginia Subaru drivers? For every new vehicle purchased or leased at our Subaru dealership in Richmond, we’ll make a $100 donation to our partnered charity. Additionally, Subaru will donate another $250 to your preferred charity.1
How Does Subaru Share the Love® Work?
Now until January 2, 2024, we’ll be donating $100 for every new vehicle bought or purchased from us to FETCH a Cure — an amazing nonprofit organization that’s focused on improving the quality of life for our pets. Not only that, but Subaru is upping their donation by sending $250 to one of the national charities that are taking part in the Share the Love® event.
The simple action of buying a new Subaru or claiming one of our new Subaru lease specials in Richmond can bring about significant change within our own community and to those in need across the country!

Subaru Share the Love® Event Frequently Asked Questions
How does the charity selection process work?
You can select your preferred charity on subaru.com/share by visiting the Moore Subaru Richmond website or by calling 1-800-SUBARU3. You can also complete the form in person using the Digital Showroom kiosk at our local Subaru dealer. Subaru will then proceed to make the donation based on your choice. More information about participating charities and the program can be found at www.subaru.com/share.
Can I split the donation between multiple charities or vote more than once?
Customers who’ve purchased or leased a new Subaru (Model Year 2023-2024) can either designate a single charity to receive the $250 donation or distribute it among several participating charities. Please note that only one donation (of $250) is approved per vehicle sale or lease.
How much time do I have to decide on choosing the charity?
We recommend customers select their charitable organization when purchasing at our local dealership; however, selections will be accepted online at subaru.com/share or by calling 1-800-SUBARU3 until January 12, 2024.
What if I forget to nominate my charity of preference? Where does the donation go?
If you do not choose a charity by January 12, 2024, Subaru will disburse the $250 donation on your behalf to participating charities.
How can I confirm that the donation was administered?
Subaru will extend a thank you letter to you for your generosity on behalf of all charitable beneficiaries involved in the campaign.
When will Subaru distribute the donations to each charity? What’s the projected donation amount?
Subaru will distribute the donations to each designated charity by May 31, 2024. Over the past 15 years, Subaru of America, Inc. and its participating retailers have raised over $256 million through the Share the Love® event. By the end of this year, the combined efforts of Subaru and its dealerships will have raised over $285 million to help those in need.
Can this donation be claimed for tax purposes?
Because the donation is made by Subaru, it won’t be tax deductible by the buyer. For further information, please consult with your tax professional.
Why do some dealerships offer five charity options while others offer more?
Subaru of America has given its dealers the option to feature up to two local charities, in addition to the four national charities, at their Subaru Share the Love® event. While some dealerships choose to support multiple local charities, others have committed their focus to one.
